Teletherapy

A Message from Dr. Gross

It has been a challenging and uncertain time for all and I hope you and your loved ones are staying well. At this time, it is important to remember that we are all experiencing a similar sense of confusion: mandated boundaries, upside-down routines and indelible uncertainty. While the world can feel like it has stopped for this virus, that does not mean it can stop for everyone.

Addiction does not know how to just stay at home until a pandemic passes. Depression and anxiety cannot be cast aside when it is convenient. In fact, they can be made worse when fear sets in. In addition to this, boundaries out of your control can make you feel as though you do not know how to stop spinning.

The simple fact is: everyone knows someone who will be in a mental health crisis soon, if they are not already.

As we all navigate this new normal together, I have adjusted my practice to be able to work via phone and online, commonly referred to as Teletherapy. This will ensure my patients continue to receive the concierge-level of attention and access that they need and deserve during this time, with the utmost security and privacy. Whether it is a remote session on Facetime for a regular appointment or a session via phone when you need it, we can work together to continue your journey and care.

Let’s create a safe space that feels right for you.

Sincerely,

Dr. Gross
